Parking Ticket Payment

Please note that beginning July 1, 2011, the Gaithersburg Police Department raised the $50 parking ticket fine to $60.

Online Parking Ticket Payment

The City of Gaithersburg has a new online parking ticket payment option via ParkingTicketPayment.com.  This service allows the convenience of paying current and/or outstanding parking tickets issued by the City of Gaithersburg over a secure Web site with most major credit cards.  Once payments are processed, records at the City of Gaithersburg and the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (for delinquent payments) will be updated accordingly, and your parking tickets will be marked as paid. 

When you select the link to ParkingTicketPayment.com you are transferred to the selected site and your are no longer on the City's website.  This link is governed by its own operating rules including but not limited to its respective privacy policy, if any.  The City’s privacy policy and operating rules apply solely to the City’s website. 

  • Have your parking ticket number available along with the vehicle registration tag that this ticket was issued to making sure you enter four zeros and the letter C prior to the ticket number. 

  • If you have multiple tickets open for the entered vehicle registration tag, you must pay all open tickets via the web site. 

  • If you wish to pay parking tickets for multiple vehicle registration tags, you must pay each plate individually. 

  • If any ticket/plate entered is marked at the Department of Motor Vehicles, you will not be able to pay your parking tickets via the ParkingTicketPayment.com web site.  To pay these tickets you must go to the issuing municipality’s parking violations office. 

  • A flat rate convenience fee will be charged per ticket paid through ParkingTicketPayment.com.  To view the dollar amount of the convenience fee for the issuing municipality, enter the exact URL as shown on your violation notice or parking ticket. 

  • NOTE: ParkingTicketPayment.com is unavailable daily between 12 a.m. midnight and 4 a.m. for scheduled maintenance.

Pay by Phone Parking Ticket Payment

The City of Gaithersburg has a new PAY BY PHONE ticket payment service.  This service allows the convenience of paying current and/or outstanding parking tickets issued by the City of Gaithersburg over a secure phone line with most major credit cards.  Once payments are processed, records at the City of Gaithersburg and the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (for delinquent payments) will be updated accordingly, and your parking tickets will be marked as paid. 

  • Customers call 1-877-220-0401

  • Have your parking ticket number available. 

  • If you have multiple tickets open for the entered vehicle registration tag, you must pay all open tickets. 

  • If you wish to pay parking tickets for multiple vehicle registration tags, you must pay each plate individually. 

  • A flat rate convenience fee of $3.50 will be charged per ticket. 

  • This system is available 24 hours a day. 

  • • Payment confirmation may take up to 24 business hours.
