Guidelines for PowerPoint Presentations at Mayor and Council Meetings

To ensure readability on television screens, please follow these guidelines for both text and graph slides in PowerPoint (or other presentation software):

Font Size:

• No less than 24 points

Font Options:

• Times New Roman
• Arial
• Courier - bold

Font Color:

• Black
• Dark Green
• Dark Brown
  

Slide Background:

• White
• light yellow
• light blue
• light tan
  

Please provide the presentation electronically to Cable TV staff at cityhall@gaithersburgmd.gov at least one full business day before the meeting. Call them at 301-258-6310 to confirm receipt and to review presentation procedures.

During the meeting it is assumed that the presenter will call for the next slide so Cable staff knows when to change.
