Gaithersburg Book Festival

Welcome to the 4th Annual Gaithersburg Book Festival
A celebration of books, writers and literary excellence.
Saturday, May 18, 2013, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The Gaithersburg Book Festival is an annual celebration of great books and great writing that is fast becoming one of the nation’s top literary events. In its fourth year, the festival will feature best-selling and award-winning authors, as well as local authors, a Children’s Village, presentations by poets and singer/songwriters, announcement of the high school short story contest winners, exhibitors with literary wares and on-site sales of new and used books. Visitors of all ages also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of interactive, hands-on writing workshops.

The festival will feature more than 100 best-selling and award-winning authors, who will participate in panel discussions and book signings throughout the day. Authors include:
