UPDATE - Due to the power outages up and down the East Coast following the storm on June 29, 2012, the due date for the above referenced project has been extended seventy-two (72) hours. Proposals are now due no later than 3 p.m., EST on July 5, 2012.

The City of Gaithersburg is accepting proposals from qualified Offerors to design, furnish and install a High Definition broadcast television control room, including High Definition broadcast robotic studio cameras and voice over equipment configured to create a complete and functional television studio system. The City also seeks to upgrade its current video production workflow from a tape to tapeless format for the entire production process as well as for archiving purposes. The City would like additional proposals for an Avid HD editing system, a HD/SD tapeless format ENG camera and a field tripod to match the selected camera. Furthermore, an alternative proposal will be given to show the costs of making the studio equipment dual use, so that it may be able to be used in a fly pack in the field.
