Oversees all regular and special City elections including the nomination and verification of candidates, financial reports and voting.  Appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council, the Board consists of five members and one alternate who serve staggered four-year terms.  City elections are held in odd-numbered years on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November.
