Deadline Extended for "Citizen Canine" Photo Contest

Posted 5/9/2012

Citizen Canine Photo ContestThe City of Gaithersburg has extended the deadline for entries in the “Citizen Canine” Photo Contest.  Residents now have until June 14 to submit images of their four-legged family members.

To promote visits to City parks and to celebrate the wonderful world of dogs, residents are encouraged to take photos of their leashed and licensed pooches in parks around the City, then enter them for a chance to be declared “Citizen Canine of the Year.”

From June 18 to July 6, qualified entries will be posted for voting on the City Facebook page at www.facebook.com/gaithersburgmd.gov.  The photo with the most number of “Likes” will be named Gaithersburg’s Citizen Canine of the Year.

Entry deadline is June 14, 2012. For complete contest rules and an entry form visit the link below or call 301-258-6310 x2324
