Street Reconstruction Affects Streets in Gaithersburg Posted 5/9/2012 
It is anticipated that the construction will last until approximately September 1, 2012, weather permitting. Work will take place weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please check this website for status updates. The City of Gaithersburg Department of Public Works will be conducting street reconstruction on Firstfield Road (from the north side of the driveway at #19 to Quince Orchard Road) and on Quince Orchard Boulevard (from Diamond Drive to MD Rte. 124) starting the week of May 21, 2012. The work will consist of removal and replacement of existing curb and gutter, sidewalk, and pavement.
