Announcement - Mayor and Council Seeking Member for Board of Supervisors of Elections

The Mayor and City Council are seeking to fill one vacancy on the Board of Supervisors of Elections for one (1) full member position.

The Board of Supervisors of Elections works in conjunction with the City's Department of Legal Services.  The Board oversees the registration of voters, petitions for elected office and officiates over all City elections, regular or special.  The Board consists of five members and one alternate who are appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. Members serve staggered, four-year terms.

Regular elections are held in odd-numbered years on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, with the next election set for Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
