Gaithersburg Police Arrest Suspect for Armed Robbery

Detectives from the Gaithersburg Police Investigative Section arrested 20-year-old Adam Joseph Bryan Peck of La Belle Court in Gaithersburg, MD on June 21, 2012. Peck has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery and second degree assault.
On March 30, 2012 at 4:50 p.m., officers from both the Gaithersburg and Montgomery County Police Departments responded to the area of Clopper Road and Longdraft Road for the report of a strong arm robbery that occurred earlier. The victim stated that at 3:50 p.m., two unknown suspects approached him at the bus stop, demanded property and when he refused, Peck assaulted him. The victim sustained minor injuries.
On April 18, 2012 at 10:05 p.m., officers from both the Gaithersburg and Montgomery County Police Departments responded to the area of Wade Court and Oak Shade Court for the report of a strong arm robbery that occurred earlier. The victim stated that on April 15, 2012 at 4:30 p.m., three unknown suspects approached him and engaged in conversation. Peck then verbally threatened to injure the victim if he didn’t give him the property, which the victim complied and left without further incident.
During the investigation, Peck was developed as a suspect. Peck is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center. No bond information is available at this time.
