Travel Back in Time with The Marvelous Wonderettes

In partnership with Montgomery Playhouse, the Arts Barn presents The Marvelous Wonderettes, a must-take trip down memory lane featuring classic hits from the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. The show runs October 5 through 21, 2012, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.  Please note that because of the Oktoberfest celebration, there will be no performance on Sunday, October 14.  Admission is $18, $16 for City of Gaithersburg residents.

The Marvelous Wonderettes takes us to a prom in 1958, where we meet the Wonderettes, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts.  As we learn about their lives and loves, we are treated to the girls performing great classic hits we all know and love.  The New York Times called it “One irresistible musical! An utter charm bomb!”
