City Hosts Workshop for FY14 Education Grants

The City of Gaithersburg Division of Community Services and the City’s Educational Enrichment Committee are hosting a free grant writing workshop for area nonprofit organizations interested in applying for City funds to support youth services or programs in partnership with schools that have a City of Gaithersburg resident enrollment of 10% or more.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg. Although admission is free, reservations are required. Please RSVP by December 17 to 301-258-6395 x 1 or e-mail mherndon@gaithersburgmd.gov.
At the workshop, City staff and committee members will discuss the criteria, outcomes, application process and reporting requirements for the FY14 School Grants and the FY14 Nonprofit Youth Grants. The FY14 grant year begins July 1, 2013.
