Annie, Jr. Charms and Delights at Arts Barn

KAT 2nd Stage & the Arts Barn presents Annie Jr.In partnership with KAT 2nd Stage, the Arts Barn presents Annie Jr., a family musical about everyone’s favorite spunky little orphan. 

The show runs February 9 through 24, 2013, with performances on Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Admission is $18, $16 for City of Gaithersburg residents, and $9 for students through grade 12. 

The sun will come out “Tomorrow” for plucky Little Orphan Annie, as she charms everyone’s hearts in one of the world’s best-loved musicals.  After being abandoned at a New York City orphanage, run by the cruel and embittered Miss Hannigan, Annie is invited to stay a week with billionaire Oliver Warbucks.  After winning her way into his heart, Warbucks offers to adopt her.  Annie wants to find her real parents, so Warbucks begins a nationwide search, offering a large reward.  Hannigan hatches a plan to kidnap Annie and steal the money.  Adventure after adventure ensue in this charming family classic featuring music favorites “It’s Hard-Knock Life” and “Tomorrow.”
