Application for annexation of approximately 27.89 acres (595,029 square feet) of land, known as the Sears Property (The Great Indoors and Sears Service Center & Repair), located at 16331 & 16401 Shady Grove Road, and adjacent road rights-of-way, adjacent to the present corporate limits. The application requests a reclassification of the subject property from the current Research & Development (R&D) Zone in the County to the Mixed Use Development (MXD) Zone in the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
