Winter LightsYour patronage of this wonderful family festival means so much more than treasured holiday memories. Each year a portion of the ticket sales goes to charities that help a broad cross-section of our community. Thank you for helping us help those in need. Supported during this year’s festival are:

The Dwelling Place

Established in 1988, the Dwelling Place allows homeless families to stay together while staff provides support and guidance. Heads of the families work with case managers to develop and carry out a personal action plan to achieve independence, including employment, housing, parenting, nutrition, financial management, literacy, and communication skills. Families can stay in the program for up to two years. For more information please call 301-948-1988.

Friends of Seneca Creek State Park

This 85-member nonprofit volunteer organization, commonly known as “Friends,” is dedicated to enhancing the park experience for visitors by providing financial support and other resources. Over the past 10 years, Seneca Creek State Park has experienced a two-fold increase in visitors, while the Park's operating budget has decreased over 30 percent. Friends of Seneca Creek State Park conducts fundraising activities, collects annual dues, and accepts in-kind donations of products and services. For more information please call 301-330-6410.
