Winter Lights Survey
Please take a moment to fill out our Winter Lights survey and you could win some great prizes! The survey link is at left.
Once you have completed the Winter Lights survey your name will be entered into our random drawing. Ten winners will be selected to win a gift certificate from one of the following Washingtonian Center retailers and restaurants: California Pizza Kitchen, Copper Canyon Grill, Corner Bakery, Joe's Crab Shack, Lilly Magilly's Cupcakery, Macaroni Grill, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Starbucks, Uncle Julio's Rio Grande Cafe and 16 Handles Frozen Yogurt. Deadline for completion of the survey is January 28, 2011. All decisions for the winners are final.
Trivia Contest
You could be the Lucky Winner of our Winter Lights Trivia Contest if you are able to correctly give the answer to our Trivia questions. The entry form can be found in our Winter Lights Festival program on page 12 which you receive upon entering the Light Show. The winner of the contest will win a Lifetime pass to the Winter Lights Festival and two orchestral seat tickets to the upcoming show Shen Yun show at the Kennedy Center on Jan. 27 at 7:30 pm. The tickets are provided courtesy of New Tang Dynasty TV-DC and Epoch Times. In the event there is more than one winner a drawing will be held to determine the final winner. Deadline January 3, 2011. Our second place winner will receive one pass to Winter Lights Festival for 2011 season and two orchestral seat tickets to the upcoming show Shen Yun at the Kennedy Center on Jan. 27 at 7:30 pm.
Drawing Contest
Calling all young artists - children 12 and under are invited to submit a drawing of their favorite Light Display. Winners will be eligible to receive a merchandise certificate to Lilly Magilly's Cupcakery located in the Washingtonian Center. The contest form and rules can be found in the Winter Lights Festival program on page 14. Good luck and have fun!
Winter Lights Run/Walk
Through special arrangement, the Montgomery County Road Runners Club will host a 5k Run/Walk Under the Lights on Saturday, November 20 at 5:45 p.m. The event will be timed for those who wish to race, but walkers are also welcome to participate. Single-width strollers will also be permitted. The event is limited to the first 500 registrants.
