Mayor & City Council Planning Retreat / Visioning Exercise

Notice to the general public is hereby given that in lieu of a review of the Strategic Directions at their annual Planning Retreat, the Mayor & City Council will participate in an all-day visioning exercise on Saturday, February 23, 2019, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., at the Benjamin Gaither Center. The exercise will look at future demographic and economic factors. With the help of a facilitator, the elected officials will explore the findings and determine if existing policies allow the City to achieve their goals, or if changes are necessary.

The session will not be televised. The retreat is open to the public, but public comment will not be taken during the session.

For more information including the agenda, visit the City’s Meeting Center or contact the City Manager’s Office.
