Enjoy our summer outdoor concert series, including the Children’s Summer Concert Series and Evenings in Olde Towne, or drop in for fun children’s activities and enriching historical lectures throughout the year. African American Health Program Dietician Lecture

Join us at Casey Community Center for a special Black History Month event in partnership with the African American Health Program (AAHP), Casey’s Farmers Market, and the Multicultural Affairs Committee (MAC).

Schedule

  • Farmers Market (outdoors on the grounds of Casey Community Center): 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Dietician Lecture (indoors at Casey Community Center): Noon to 12:50 p.m.
    Topic: Healthy Diet and Anti-Inflammatory Lifestyle with Farm-Fresh Produce

AAHP Dietician Wintana Kiros will discuss the importance of an anti-inflammatory lifestyle and how to achieve it using farm-fresh produce. Then, join a hands-on class to learn how to incorporate fruits and vegetables from the market into your diet.
