The City of Gaithersburg is amending its Federal Fiscal Year 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025 Action Plans. The proposed amendment to the plans alters the funding amounts of projects. The City is recommending reprogramming previously unspent funds to various projects throughout the City. Specifically, the City is proposing that funds go to renovations to transitional housing for homeless adults, relocation costs for residents at the transitional housing, and sidewalk and street improvements in the Olde Towne neighborhood. The public is encouraged to submit written comments to Maureen Walker, Housing and Community Development Manager, 31 S. Summit Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, or housing@gaithersburgmd.gov.
A public meeting to discuss the amendments and allow for residents to share comments is scheduled for February 5, 2026 at 7 p.m.at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park.
