DESCRIPTION:<p>The Indoor <a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/about-us/city-facilities/aquatic-center">Aquatic Center</a> will be closed for its annual cleaning &amp; maintenance from Monday, July 27, through Monday, September 7, 2026. It will reopen for regular operations on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.</p><p>The annual maintenance includes draining and refilling of the pool, gutter polishing, top to bottom cleaning, touch-up painting, diving board replacement, and HVAC and door inspections.</p><p>Gaithersburg’s outdoor <a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/about-us/city-facilities/water-park">Water Park</a> is open daily through Monday, September 7, 2026. Aquatic Center members are permitted to use the Water Park during open hours free of charge during the maintenance period. Weekend and holiday admission is limited to City Residents<span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0);">*</span>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/recreation/aquatics/memberships">Aquatics Members</a>. Montgomery County residents may use the Water Park on weekdays.</p><p><small><span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0);">*</span>Please note that to qualify for City Resident rate &amp; admission, you must live within the City’s corporate limits.
