Exceptions will be posted closer to the date.<!--, with the exception of the following:</p><ul type="disc">    <li><a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/about-us/city-facilities/police-station">Police Department Administrative Offices</a> will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.</li>    <li>The <a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/about-us/city-facilities/activity-center-at-bohrer-park">Activity Center</a> will be closed to the general public, but open for scheduled City programs.</li>    <li><a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/recreation/youth-teen-activities/gaithersburg-youth-club">Youth Centers</a> will operate on regular schedule.</li>    <li><a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/recreation/youth-teen-activities/elementary-school-programs">Amazing Afternoons</a> will operate on regular schedule.</li>    <li>The <a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/about-us/city-facilities/aquatic-center">Aquatic Center</a> will open from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. for lap swim only.</li></ul>--></p><p><a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/services/recycling-bulk-pickup/recycling-holiday-schedule">The collection of recycled materials will take place as scheduled.</a> <a href="https://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/services/recycling-bulk-pickup/bulk-pickup">Bulk pickup</a> is unavailable.</p><p>Regular trash and garbage collection for City residents is handled by private contractors.
