The City of Gaithersburg announces the winners of the second annual Gaithersburg Film Festival that took place April 10 through 12 at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn. This vibrant celebration of storytelling reflects Gaithersburg’s rich diversity and features a dynamic lineup of short films, feature presentations, filmmaker panels, and engaging discussions.

This year’s winners are:

• Best Feature: “Not in Service”
• Best Narrative Short: “Mandy’s Voice”
• Best Documentary Short: “The Emcees of MC: The Underground Music Scene of Montgomery County, MD”
• Jury Choice: “Marianne’s Onion”
• Audience Favorite: “RISE”
