The City operates under a decentralized procurement system; individual Departments are responsible for purchasing those goods and services required to perform their functions. The Procurement Division acts as a liaison between Departments, responsible for administering and enforcing purchasing policies and procedures; identifying and establishing procurement strategies, methods and processes; and providing assistance with solicitation development, negotiations and contract awards.

All formal solicitations and select informal solicitations (requests for quotes) will be published here and be advertised on the State of Maryland’s eMaryland Marketplace. Vendors interested in doing business with the City should register with eMaryland Marketplace. In addition, vendors may subscribe to the City’s eNewsletter to receive email notifications when new solicitations are published.

The City is seeking sealed Bid Proposals to purchase Tires & Related Services for Fiscal Year 2022 (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022), on an as needed basis. Estimated quantities have been provided on the Pricing Template (Attachment B). Pricing established under this formal Request for Bids applies to the purchase of all Tires & Related Services for the Public Works Department. For the purpose of establishing prices, quantities have been identified based on the estimated needs. These quantities are only an estimate and are not a binding guarantee of the amount to be purchased under the contract. Actual requirements may be more or less than the amounts estimated.
