Recalling the charm of a bygone era, the Arts Barn is a beautifully renovated stable that once housed horses on the former Tschiffely estate. Today, it serves as the City’s hub for visual and performing arts. Featuring a 99-seat theater, the Arts Barn also hosts rotating art exhibits, a gift shop with handcrafted items, and a dynamic schedule of classes, workshops, and camps for all ages. Arts Barn’s Artist in Residence Program

We are sad to share that the Arts Barn’s Artist in Residence Program will conclude on June 30, 2026. This decision comes as part of our ongoing effort to ensure that our spaces and resources best support the more than 60,000 attendees who participated in more than 370 programs and performances at the Arts Barn last year. By repurposing the residency space, we aim to expand our ability to serve the community through enhanced programming, improved accessibility, and an even more engaging arts experience for all.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our current Artists in Residence — Jeanne Sullivan, Maritza Suarez-Valenti, and Jack and Jaree Donnelly — for their years of creativity, dedication, and meaningful contributions to the Arts Barn community. Their presence has enriched our cultural environment, inspired visitors, and strengthened the artistic fabric of our City. We are sincerely thankful for the time, energy, and passion they have shared with us.

The Arts Barn remains committed to celebrating and supporting artists through performances, classes, exhibitions, and a wide range of cultural programming. We look forward to continuing our work alongside the vibrant arts community that makes the Arts Barn such a special place.
