Gaithersburg Aquatic Center, Benjamin Gaither Center (BGC), Community Museum and Youth Centers closed. Classes at these facilities cancelled. Exception: Evening classes at the BGC to be determined by 2:30 p.m.
• Activity Center at Bohrer Park opens at 8 a.m.
• Casey Community Center opens at 9 a.m. No Tot Time.
• All activities scheduled for school sites cancelled.
• City-sponsored morning/afternoon classes before 2:30 p.m. in City facilities cancelled.
• Decision on evening programs and classes to be made by 2:30 p.m.
We will be ringing the bell in honor of our Veterans at 11 am. The museum is open now until 12:30 pm.
Veterans Day Observance to follow at City Hall Pavilion, reception inside after.

The Gaithersburg Community Museum is located in the restored 1884 B&O Railroad Station complex and comprises of the historic Freight House, the History Park and the rolling stock. The Museum features educational exhibits and programs designed to spark interest and imagination in our City’s history.
In partnership with the Gaithersburg Historical Association, the City of Gaithersburg collects photographs, documents and other historic articles that tell the story of Gaithersburg and present that story in an interesting and interpretive manner. Tours, programs, local history publications, rentals, genealogical and other research opportunities, and much more are all waiting for you and your family at the Gaithersburg Community Museum.
