Experience Gaithersburg’s past and present at the Gaithersburg Community Museum, located in the historic B&O rail complex in Olde Towne, where real trains pass by on the active rail line. The Museum’s indoor and outdoor spaces offer hands‑on learning and interactive exhibits for all ages.

The Museum grounds includes the 1884 Freight House, History Park, and the Rolling Stock, with the 1884 Train Station located next door. Olde Towne Plaza, adjacent to the Train Station, features an interactive water play feature.
