2020 Season Update
The Water Park will be open for City of Gaithersburg Residents and Aquatics Members ONLY beginning on Monday, July 6. See below for important details.
Lap Lanes are limited to 1 per person per Montgomery County Department of Health guidelines. Online reservation required; limited to 1 hour during lap swim times only.
When entering facility, patrons must be free from COVID-19 symptoms.
No furniture will be provided. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chair/towel to sit on. No umbrellas permitted.
Children’s splash pool will not be open per Montgomery County Department of Health guidelines.
Patrons should stay at least 6 feet apart (both in and out of the water) from other individuals not from their household.
Per the Governor’s Executive Order, patrons must wear face coverings when interacting with staff or other individuals not from their household. Patrons will be required to wear face coverings while moving around the facility. They are not to be worn in the water.
Lost and Found items will be disposed of at the end of each day.
Credit cards are the preferred payment method for open swim times.
Patrons are encouraged to arrive in swim attire. To facilitate contactless searches, only clear bags are allowed for personal belongings.
Please do not sit around the pool edge with patrons whom are not in your family.
Water fountain will be available for bottle fill only.
The Water Park, located within the 57-acre campus of Bohrer Park, opened in 1990 and has served approximately 1.6 million patrons; nearly 80,000 annually. This facility is used by families, summer camps and day care providers. It provides a safe and active environment that serves as a popular outdoor recreation facility for more than 70,000 Gaithersburg residents and nearby communities.
