Board of Directors

Appointed by the Mayor & City Council, the G-PARC Board of Directors provides guidance and oversight on policies and procedural requirements for its Alliances and associated Friends of Groups. The Board meets quarterly and governs all G-PARC activities, including financial and legal responsibilities. It also provides activity and financial reports to the City. The Board comprises chairpersons from each Alliance, individuals not necessarily affiliated with an Alliance, and non-voting City staff.

Alliances

In April 2019, G-PARC launched three Alliances—Parks, Arts & Culture, and Recreation—each dedicated to one of the organization’s focus areas. These Alliances aim to create expanded and sustainable efforts in their respective fields.
