The City of Gaithersburg is a diverse city that welcomes all individuals and believes in equal treatment & inclusion for all.

The City has appointed two LGBTQ+ liaisons to assist the LGBTQ community. Tom Lonergan-Seeger is the point of contact for the City Manager’s Office and can assist with information, concerns, and/or complaints.

Chief Shawn Eastman is the LGBTQ+ liaison for the Gaithersburg Police Department. If you would like to report a hate crime or other concern, you can contact Chief Sroka directly.
