The Board of Supervisors of Elections requires all Campaign Finance Reports to be submitted electronically. Reports must be submitted by 11:59:59 p.m. on the due date.
How to Submit Your Campaign Finance Report
- Request the link to submit your CFR from the City Clerk by emailing campaignfinancing@gaithersburgmd.gov.
- Download a blank copy of the Campaign Finance Report (Excel format).
- Select the appropriate reporting period.
- Complete all required fields in the electronic Campaign Finance Report Summary.
- Upload your completed Campaign Finance Report (Excel format) using the provided submission link then submit.

Important Notice Regarding Campaign Finance Report Submission
Effective June 1, 2014, and in accordance with § 4-108.2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, all candidates for elected office are required to submit their filed Campaign Finance Reports (CFRs) to the Maryland State Board of Elections no later than ten (10) days after the report due date.
