Dear Friends & Neighbors,
For over 30 years I have been serving as a “Good Neighbor” in the different communities where I have lived. I am a small business owner that brings a unique perspective to the City Council.
I come from a long tradition of public servants in my family. My great grandfather was one of the first Resident Commissioner’s in Washington representing the island of Puerto Rico. The motto of my Jesuit high school is “Men at the Service of others”.
I come to serve and not to be served.
Our community deserves a Council Member that will incorporate his educational background with his professional experience to seek consensus in the decisions that we make.
Gaithersburg has seen a transformation but there is still work to be done. Our schools are crowded and our teachers overwhelmed, our elderly population is increasing and must be attended to. We must continue to grow in a responsible manner taking in consideration the impact to the environment. We must offer opportunities to those living in Gaithersburg. We must integrate, include and embrace our cultural diversity.
If we work together and use a common sense approach in partnership with the private sector we can do great things.
VOTE FOR JUAN AGUIRRE, a vote for common sense and compassion.
