The Corridor Development (CD) Zone was originally created to implement the 2001 Frederick Avenue Corridor Land Use Plan. In 2013 the City completed a study that determined that the 355 Corridor does not need a new zone. It was recommended that the City simply refine the CD zone and make it the primary zone in the Corridor. The City sought public input in May, 2018, with a survey on the use and purpose of the current CD Zone. The results will help the City determine if and how the CD Zone should be changed so that it can better serve the entire Corridor.
Staff went before the Planning Commission on January 16, 2019 and received further guidance on updates to the CD Zone. Staff will go before the Planning Commission again at a future meeting. Notice will be given once scheduled. You may find materials from the January 16, 2019 meeting here.
