Proposal

Application SDP-9896-2024 has been filed on behalf of Auto Spa requesting Schematic Development Plan approval for a 5,106 square-foot car wash at 10009 Fields Road and minor site improvements at 10003 Fields Road.

Status

A Joint Public Hearing was held for the project on March 17, 2025 in the Council Chambers at 16 South Summit Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland.

The Planning Commission’s record closed at 5 PM on April 9, 2025 (23 days). At the Planning Commission’s meeting on April 16, the Planning Commission recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve the Subject Application.


The Mayor & City Council’s record closed at 5 PM on April 29, 2025 (43 days). At the Mayor & City Council’s Policy Discussion on May 19, 2025, the Subject Application was approved with Resolution R-29-25.
