Park, Pavilion & Playground Restrictions

In addition to walking, running, hiking, and biking, permitted outdoor activities under Governor’s Hogan’s amended Stay at Home Order, issued on May 6, 2020, now include small group sports such as golf & tennis. These must be done in compliance with the Order, following proper social distancing guidelines as issued by the CDC and the Maryland Department of Health.
  • It is best to only exercise by yourself or with members of your household.
  • Practice proper hygiene and 6-foot social distancing at all times.
  • City playgrounds will open on Friday, June 19 at 5 p.m. Equipment is not sanitized. Please follow public health guidance and practice social distancing.
  • By law, no gatherings in excess of 10 people are allowed, and for maximum safety, social distancing should still be practiced within the group.
  • Do not participate in group sports or activities involving physical contact.
