A limited number of Community Garden plots are available at the new Pleasant View Park!

Plot sizes and costs:

48 square feet (6 x 8’) - $30 per year (6 plots available)
32 square feet (4 x 8’) - $25 per year (12 plots available)

The garden plots are raised beds, which will provided by the City. Individuals & families are limited to one plot per household/family.

The term of your agreement will be for one year with the option to renew for two additional years (three years total).

• Plot holders must be residents* of the City of Gaithersburg.
  *City resident applies to residences within the corporate City limits of Gaithersburg & pay City taxes; not all persons with a Gaithersburg address are considered City residents. Please use our Address & Parcel Map to see if your residence falls within corporate City limits.
• Plot holders will be chosen on a first come first served basis using the waiting list.
• Plot holders can re-apply for their plot space for a total of three consecutive years.
• Those who are chosen for plots are expected to attend a mandatory Annual Meeting (time & location to be determined).
• Plot holders must commit to a yearly service requirement of six hours of community garden work outside of their individual plot.
• Payment for the plot & all required paperwork will be due by April 15.
• The planting season will be approximately April – October.
