A fun evening of music, poetry, Whiskey & haggis celebrating the life of poet Robert Burns. Inspired by his Scottish ancestry, Seán Heely breathes new life into the rich traditions of Celtic music, engaging audiences with every bow stroke. Follow Heely’s fiddle journey through Scotland, Ireland and America. A U.S National Scottish Fiddle Champion and an award-winning Irish Fiddler, his music also encompasses classical, bluegrass and swing. Heely has performed with traditional music icons such as Irish fiddle legend Liz Carroll and cello virtuoso Natalie Haas. From lively reels and jigs to the haunting airs and songs of Scotland and Ireland, he seamlessly weaves ancient traditions with modern compositions.
Attendees are invited to come early and enjoy a whiskey tasting & haggis at 7:30 p.m. Patrons are encouraged to wear Scottish dress or anything plaid. Wine by the glass, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages is available in a bistro setting. The Arts Barn Pub is open one hour before the show & during intermission.
