Gospel music, the uniquely American art form that gave rise to jazz, blues, R&B, and rock and roll, will be celebrated to the highest as the City of Gaithersburg presents the 20th Annual Jubilation Day Gospel Concert. On Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 3 to 7 p.m., the Concert Pavilion at City Hall will host performances of all styles of Gospel, Christian and uplifting music by local and regional artists.
Make a day of it by getting a meal at one of the area restaurants, bringing your own favorite food, or purchasing from on-site food vendor Hardy's BBQ.
This year’s event features emcee Letricia Loftin and performances by The Jones MockingBirds, Nehemiah, The Soul Messengerz, Tomika Carter, The Fisher Girls, Fat Cat & The Blues Band and Crusader Baptist Church of God Praise Team.
Gaithersburg’s Concert Pavilion is located at 31 South Summit Avenue in front of City Hall. Admission to Jubilation Day is free. The outdoor venue features lawn seating with limited chairs. Please feel free to bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
