Manhattan Short Film Festival

In more than 350 cinemas across six continents, 100,000 film lovers will unite to view and vote on the finalists’ films in the 22nd Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival.

The judges of the finalists' films are you. Upon entry to the Arts Barn, you will be handed a Voting Card and an Official Program and asked to vote for the one film and one actor you feel should win. Votes are tallied and sent to the Manhattan Short headquarters in New York City. The overall winner will be announced on Monday, October 7.

All films selected will be eligible for an Oscar nomination. Finalists will be part of the Manhattan Short Oscar Qualifying Run. This means all selected films will screen for a full week at a cinema in Los Angeles County. This run qualifies every film selected in Manhattan Short for the Oscars. Past finalists nominated for an Oscar include Shok and Bear from 2015. For more information about the Manhattan Short Film Festival, please visit their website.

The Festival consists of about 10 short films of all genres, each about 20 minutes or under in length (minus credits), so the entire event runs two to three hours. The same films will be screened on both days. Some films may contain mature themes & content. Recommended for ages 13 & up.
