Young Frankenstein

The celebration of the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein continues with this comedic spoof starring Gene Wilder as medical lecturer, Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, who inherits his grandfather's estate in Transylvania. Complications ensue when Dr. Frankenstein recreates his grandfather's experiments and creates his own monster.

Prior to the film there will be a Gaithersburg-centric video introduction hosted by Count Gore de Vol, host of Saturday night’s ”Creature Feature” in the DC area from 1973-1987. His character name is a combination of a play on the author Gore Vidal’s name and the D.C. based De Vol funeral homes.
