Concert Pavilion
The entire community is invited to join the City of Gaithersburg for its annual Veterans Day Observance on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. This special ceremony honors and recognizes all U.S. military personnel for their vital role in safeguarding our nation and future.
The observance begins at 11 a.m. at the City Hall Concert Pavilion, followed by a reception with refreshments in the City Hall Gallery.
The patriotic program will include remarks and music to commemorate the occasion, concluding with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony. City officials and members of local veterans groups will be present to pay tribute to those who have served in all branches of the military.

Support Homeless Veterans in Montgomery County
Each year, the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH) supports an average of 75 veterans through its Safe Haven Program, providing emergency shelter. Its Operation Homecoming Program offers homeless veterans safe, stable, and affordable housing.
Donations of toiletries and cleaning supplies are being collected to help veterans transition into housing. A complete list of needed items is available here. Donations can be dropped off during the Veterans Day Observance.
