Join us for the annual SportsFest, where we celebrate all things sports with a morning full of fun and activity for youth entering grades K through 8. This free, rain-or-shine event takes place at Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm and highlights the City’s philosophy of participation over competition.
Kick off the day with the SportsFest 3K Run Fundraiser, a community event benefiting the City Youth and Teen Sports Programs! Lace up your running shoes and hit the scenic course at Bohrer Park, which includes a mix of pavement and field terrain.
All registered participants will receive a City of Gaithersburg Sports T-shirt if they sign up by July 1. Additional shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration is required.
Following the run, we’ll kick things off with a short celebration before opening our exciting lineup of free sports challenge stations from 9 to 11 AM. Participants can test their skills in:
Stations will be located on the front field and inside the Activity Center.
T-shirts and prizes will be awarded for completing the challenges, while supplies last. Keep an eye out for “Coach G,” the official Gaithersburg Sports mascot!
