A City issued Telecommunications Facility Permit is required for a new (non-small cell) facility, small cell facility, co-location or replacement of a facility, and Radio & TV Broadcast Stations.

Before submitting a Telecommunications Facility Permit application, you must first complete and submit a Pre-Approval Form to permitting@gaithersburg.gov. Once received, a staff member from the City of Gaithersburg Planning Department will follow up.
