Tent Permit – tents 12 feet by 12 feet or larger, and certain configurations of smaller tents abutting one another require a Tent Permit. Tent Permit Applications must be submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. The application can be found here.
Electrical/Generator Permit – if your event includes the use of generators or special lighting, you may need a permit. Please include the make and model of your generator(s) on your Special Event Permit Application. If you know you will need an electrical permit for your event, the application can be found here.
Trailer Permit – trailers installed for any commercial use (construction trailers, sales trailers, office trailers, storage trailers, and the like) require a Trailer Permit. The application can be found here.
Animal Services – if your event includes live animals, an inspection may be required. The Animal Services webpage can be found here.
Traffic Support – events deemed to have a significant impact on traffic within the City may be required to hire off-duty Police Officers and/or Public Works staff to aid in traffic support during the event.
Montgomery County Food License – if you will be serving/selling food at your event you may require licensing through Montgomery County. The Department of Health and Human Services website can be found here.
Montgomery County Alcohol License – if you will be serving/selling alcohol at your event, licensing is required through Montgomery County. The Alcohol Beverage Services website can be found here.
