Alerts may include where to go, what to do (or not do), who to contact, and other key details. Emergency notifications from Montgomery County’s Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security are also shared through Alert Gaithersburg.

Subscribers automatically receive:

  • Emergency messages from the City of Gaithersburg and Montgomery County
  • Optional Smart Weather notifications
  • Optional alerts about major traffic incidents in and around Gaithersburg
