Participating neighborhoods include:

  • Bennington (6:30 – 8:30 p.m.) Social event on the Parcel K - large grassy area bordered by Longdraft Rd., Wade Ct., Oak Shade, and East Darby Ct. Meet police officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department and allied agencies. Explore a police cruiser and learn about a wide variety of safety topics all while enjoying family fun activities for all ages including games, giveaways, and more.

  • Kentlands/Lakelands (6 – 8:30 p.m.) Family fun activities for all ages at the Clubhouse, 485 Tschiffely Square Rd. Meet police officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department and allied agencies.

  • Montgomery Meadows (5 – 8 p.m.) Social event at the pavilion at Travis Park, 391 Travis Ave. Meet police officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department and learn about a wide variety of safety topics.

  • Saybrooke (6 – 8 p.m.) Social event at the pool on Saybrooke Oaks Blvd. Meet police officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department and learn about a wide variety of safety topics.

  • Casey Community Center will also host NNO events from 6 to 8 p.m. at 810 S. Frederick Ave. Meet police officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department and allied agencies. This annual community-building event builds neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and a more caring place to live. Casey’s event achieves this goal in a way that is truly enjoyable for all ages.

  • Update: Amber Commons will not be holding an event.

This year’s celebration features an expanded resource fair designed to support residents facing rising costs and connects them with valuable services. The fair will include food distribution, backpack giveaways, and free haircuts for children, along with financial wellness representatives offering information on budgeting, banking, and credit support. A dedicated Housing Hub will provide resources on rental assistance, homeownership programs, and tenant rights. Additionally, staff with the Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture will be on hand to share details about fall programs, classes, and upcoming community events. The evening will also feature a meet-and-greet with City of Gaithersburg Police Officers, music, line dancing, crafts, games, duck races, a food truck, and free ice cream and coffee.
