Applications for civilian positions are accepted for current job openings only. Applications for sworn positions are accepted during established recruiting periods. To see current openings, visit the Employment Page.
Upon receipt of your application, you will receive an acknowledgment (by email or U.S. mail). If your application meets minimum qualifications, it will be included in the current selection process.

Reapplication & Retesting Policy
(Civilian and Sworn Positions)

Applications that meet minimum qualifications and are submitted during the designated recruitment period will be included in the current process.

Omissions that can be corrected prior to testing or interviews will not result in automatic disqualification.

Sworn position recruitment periods establish a standing eligibility list. Vacancies are filled as needed.

All applications are kept on file for one year after the recruitment period ends.

Applicants not selected may be considered in future processes but may be asked to update or re-submit a new application.

Applicants may reapply and retest in future recruitment periods unless disqualified for good cause.
