Reapplication & Retesting Policy

(Civilian and Sworn Positions)

  • Applications that meet minimum qualifications and are submitted during the designated recruitment period will be included in the current process.

  • Omissions that can be corrected prior to testing or interviews will not result in automatic disqualification.

  • Sworn position recruitment periods establish a standing eligibility list. Vacancies are filled as needed.

  • All applications are kept on file for one year after the recruitment period ends.

  • Applicants not selected may be considered in future processes but may be asked to update or re-submit a new application.

  • Applicants may reapply and retest in future recruitment periods unless disqualified for good cause.
