Recycling and loose leaf collection is available to single family homes and townhouses. The City contracts with a private hauler for the collection of newspapers, mixed paper, corrugated cardboard, commingled cans, plastic and paper to-go cups, glass containers and plastic bottles. The recycling contractor also collects brush, branches, grass clippings, leaves and other yard trimmings.

Your recycling cart/bin must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on your weekly recycling day for collection by the City’s recycling contractor. Recycling that is not at the curb by 7 a.m. will not be collected.

RECYCLE RIGHT

Prevent Litter

On windy days, please secure your recycling so it doesn’t blow away. Make sure lids are closed on carts and bins, and bring empty containers in from the curb or alley as soon as possible to prevent hazards for pedestrians and drivers. Place secured materials curbside by 7 a.m. If you need a replacement lid, contact the Department of Public Works.
