Recycling & loose leaf collection is available to single family homes & townhouses. The City contracts with a private hauler for the collection of newspapers, mixed paper, corrugated cardboard, commingled cans, glass containers & plastic bottles. The recycling contractor also collects brush, branches, grass clippings, leaves & other yard trimmings.

Your recycling cart/bin must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on your weekly recycling day for collection by the City’s recycling contractor. Recycling that is not at the curb by 7 a.m. will not be collected.

Prevent Litter
On windy days, it is important to secure recycling so it does not blow away. Please ensure lids are secured on recycling carts and bins. When possible, please move empty containers from the street curb or alley so they don’t blow over and create hazardous conditions for pedestrians & drivers. Please place secured material curbside by 7 a.m. for collection. If you need a lid for your recycling container, please contact the Department of Public Works.
